Earth Day Hamilton-Burlington has one mission, to improve the environment by providing hands-on education covering a wide range of environmental issues to local youth and the community. Their goals are to: Raise awareness about environmental issues, encourage people to act, provide accessible programs and events and inspire youth.
They host an annual Tree Planting Festival where hundreds of trees are planted in a day to re-naturalize our region and engage the community with environmental issues.
To help their events become more accessible they requested help with signage through the FootPRINT Fund and we were able to help create signs to better depict how to properly plant a tree to help overcome language barriers.
