Since it’s inception in 1978 The Therapeutic Equestrian Association for the Disabled (T.E.A.D.), has provided thousands of individuals young and old with a different approach to their situation. They are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities through equestrian therapy, a proven method in dealing with the challenges presented to them by their disabilities.

TEAD went through a very transitional year in 2016. They restructured the organization and after closing their doors the previous December due to financial difficulties they were able to re-open in April of 2016. TEAD was looking for a fundraising piece that they could hand out to potential donors and potential corporate sponsors. The idea was to have the horses sponsored for their costs on an annual basis. Each horse needs $10,000 a year to cover the cost of its care, but the horses provide therapeutic rides to over 320 people per year.

Through FootPRINT Fund we helped TEAD design and produce a four-page sponsorship brochure that really tells the story of this important organization and asks for support. The brochure is meant to be given in person and opens the door for TEAD to pursue larger corporate sponsors while looking professional and polished. We asked Sabrena how the FootPRINT Award helped her organization, “Not for profit, charitable organizations are having a hard time surviving in today’s tough fiscal climate. Many people are struggling so organizations that rely on donations are particularly at risk. Awards like this are the lifeblood for organizations who don’t have the budget to produce the very things that help keep their doors open. The impact on the community is huge.”
